Home Hydrogen Fuel Stations

Fill up...at your Home Hydrogen Fuel Station.
A FUEL station producing enough hydrogen to run homes and cars was recently unveiled in Belgravia.
The British invention, due to go on sale within two years, is roughly the size of a heating boiler and will cost less than £2,000. Its creators say it will revolutionise commuting, help slash energy bills and provide easy access to an environmentally-friendly fuel. Sheffield-based ITM Power, which took eight years to design the station, say it will use water and off-peak electricity to produce hydrogen. The gas can then be used to power households, or be pumped into a specially converted Ford Focus.
Motorists may welcome the move, as the "DIY" gas is said to cost half the price of unleaded petrol.
